I was pondering. Why is it celebrated as a holy day?
Unless, it was the church of Rao that supported Veluna's succession from
Furyondy. A peaceful religious revolution. Could they have rebelled in a way
similar to Gandhi, passive-aggression? Could it have been similar to the way
America gained its independence? In this instance was Keoland supportive of a
free Veluna? Was Verbobonc supportive to retain or grant their own support to
remain a free-city?
The Canon states, In 446 CY, in an agreement known
as the Concordat of Eademer, the Velunese College of Bishops voted
overwhelmingly to break from the kingdom of Furyondy, establishing the current
state known as the Archclericy of Veluna.
I notice a 30 year gap. So it suggests that either
the authors did not coincide their information, or that the Velunese fought
some type of battle for thirty years. So I ask what do you envision occurred during
this time. How did Veluna truly win its independence from Furyondy?
