It is documented that the surviving elite of
Caerdiralor influenced Sulm's royal house with dark secrets and promises of
wealth... However, if they never made it
across the Sea of Gearnat would Sulm have risen to the dark empire of history?
One could say that Caerdiralor was the seat of ur-flan power. Had the people of
Caerdiralor been wiped out of existence would we have Kyuss, Keraptis, or Vecna
to deal with? One could argue that Itar
would of risen to power over the Sulmi. Under Vathris tutelage the divided
tribes could of united as one nation over time. If the ancient flan became the
progressive, technologically advanced society Vathris strived for-- would the
rampant lion of the aerdi have been as successful in conquering the Flanaess? So what
do you think? What other changes could the absence of the ur-flan have on the
Flanaess or Oerth itself?
